Screen Printing Frequently Asked Questions
1. How do I get Free Screens and Free Setups?
Its very simple; Just place an order! We never charge set up fees. All we ask is that you give us a shout out on Facebook and Twitter. That is a great way to show us some love! Also, you can win free Terminus gear and prizes by constantly promoting us on social networks!
2. What types of art files do you accept for our designs?
All files must be at least 300 dpi. Preferred file types are .PSD, .TIF, .EPS, & .AI. If you’re submitting illustrator files, send with no clipping masks and all text converted to outlines on a solid or negative background.
3. Do you have a minimum order?
We have a 50 piece minimum on most designs. (There is a 100 piece minimum on Specialty designs, 4 color process, photo realism and multicolor process printing because of the labor involved.) We can work out a special price on 25-49 pieces on basic 1-2 color designs. We strongly advise going with 100 pieces per design because of that is where pricing helps you and your budget. We are mainly set up for bulk orders and most the cost/labor is the preparation of the order. So the more tees you get, the better prices we give you.
4. What is your average turn around time?
Our turn around times are based on the current work load. On average, the turn around time is about two weeks. If you need an order sooner, let us know and we will go over all the options to accommodate your needs.
5. What are your print sizes?
Standard Screen Size: 13″ X 18″
Over Sized Screen Size: 16″ X 24″
6. About how long does shipping take?

7. What brands of shirts do you use?
Take a look at our pricing pages, we have all of the garments listed there.
8. Do I need to pay for my shirts now?
For an order to be considered placed we require that you pay a deposit (Half). This also gives you extra time to scrape together the rest of your cash and still get your goods in time!
9. Do you do Rush Orders?
We do offer rush orders. Each rush order will be custom quotes. Contact Sales@TerminusTees.com for more info.
10. Can I get 100 shirts with 2 separate designs?
You can, but it would have to be priced as two separate 50 piece orders. So the pricing will not be the same as the 100 piece prices. We highly recommend just doing the 100 tees per design. If you’re a band, you’re going to sell them anyway, so why not get 100 and save yourself $100 or more?
11. Can I mix shirt colors in my order?
Sure. You can do all sorts of different color tees with your order as long as its the same design. If you decide to change the color of the ink in that order for a different color tee there will be an Ink Change Fee.
12. Can you send me my shirts while we’re on tour?
For Sure! Just let us know what the most convenient place for you to safely pick-up your stuff is, and we will ship it there.
13. I am missing a few shirts / I have received more shirts than I ordered, Why is that?
Rarely a tee may be misprinted or damaged in production, or a specific color or style is low in stock. We will call you before shipping to let you know if there is an error and we will deduct our mistake from your bill. You will not be charged for our mistakes. If you get more than you should have, Stop Complaining! You just got free shirts!
14. What if Something is wrong with my order! What do I do?
If something is wrong with your order, please call us within 48 hours of receiving your stuff. If there are errors in any way we will take care of you! Call this number: 770.926.1158
15. How do we specify ink colors?
Its simple, If there is a specific pantone that you would like to see, just let us know. If you do not have a pantone color specified, we will use our equipment and materials to the best of our abilities to match it for you. Monitor display settings can greatly affect the color you see on screen. Colors cannot be guaranteed unless you are using a pantone book ) and reference the pantone numbers from that book. Also, please remember to tell us which book you are using.
16. I want to print over the seams, how does that work?
Printing over the seams works best with Termisoft discharge/vintage fashion printing. The inks are softer so less “damage/tearing” of the design is expected. Anytime you print over a seam, there will be distress around the seams and the level of distress is based on the individual design. Contact us so we can do our best to describe what to expect.
17. I want screen printed tags, how does that work?
It’s actually super simple. Just make a tag design for every size in your order. If the tees you want have pull tags, we simply pop the tags out and screen print the new one in. If the tee doesn’t have a pull tag, then we cut the original down as low as we can and screen print the tag (there is no guarantee a tag will be completely gone if the shirts do not have pull tags). Tags are 1 color designs, and on lighter color tees, the ink color can be seen from the inside of the tee. Some of our clients use a grey ink to minimize the show through.
