Tips for Preparing Artwork in Adobe Photoshop

IMPORTANT NOTE:
These instructions will only work if your design was created at or near the desired print size. Additionally, all elements within the design must have a resolution of at least 300 DPI to ensure the best print quality.

  1. Open or finalize your design: Make sure your file is ready to be saved in the desired format.
  2. Saving as a .PSD (Photoshop Document):
    • Go to File > Save As.
    • In the Save as type dropdown, select Photoshop (.PSD).
    • Choose your location, name the file, and click Save.
    • A .PSD file keeps layers and adjustments, allowing future editing.
  3. Saving as a .PNG or .JPEG:
    • Go to File > Export > Export As.
    • In the export dialog, select PNG or JPEG under Format.
    • Adjust any settings (Make sure it's at the print size desired, at least 1000 pixels at 300dpi), then click Export.
